Although the filter cloth plays an important role in the initial filtering accuracy of the filter press, the higher the initial filtering accuracy is, the better the filter cloth is. Because the filter cloth has little interception effect after the filter has been formed for a period of time, it is the key to use the filter cloth to form a good filter layer.
(3) peel property of filter cake. Special attention should be paid to the peeling property of filter cake when selecting filter cloth. The surface of the filter cloth is smooth and smooth, the cake is stripped rapidly, and the filtration time is short, and the efficiency is high. It is not easy to peel the cake adhering to the filter cloth, which will prolong the operation time of the filter press and reduce the work efficiency. If you want to change the filter cloth, the time will be even more. Nowadays, it is rather troublesome to replace the filter press with the universal filter press. The discharging performance of single filament filter fabric is better than that of long filament and short fiber filter fabric, and the discharging performance of satin fabric is better than that of plain fabric.
(4) regeneration performance of filter cloth. When choosing filter cloth, we should also pay attention to selecting filter cloth with good regeneration performance. The filter cloth with good regeneration performance can be washed directly on the filter press to reduce the number of cloth changing. The filtration efficiency of the replaced filter cloth is recovered to more than 80% after simple treatment (drying, washing, etc.).
